hey, i’m conni biesalski.
I’m a coach, teacher, writer and entrepreneur living in a small surf town in Portugal.
I build things that help people understand themselves, feel better in their bodies and create lives they actually enjoy.
That’s the thread connecting most of what I do.
My work brings together holistic health, breathwork, nervous system work and somatic psychology. Which is a slightly complicated way of saying: I’m interested in the whole human.
What you eat. How you breathe. How you sleep. The things you feel. The things you’ve learned not to feel. And the life you’re asking your body to keep up with.
I came to this work through my own fairly messy journey.
Years of digestive issues, anxiety, depression and pushing myself harder than was good for me. A lot of searching. A lot of trying things. Eventually, learning to slow down and pay attention.
Breathwork and somatic work became a big part of that journey. So did nutrition, understanding my health and changing the conditions of my everyday life.
Today, I work privately with entrepreneurs and ambitious people who are doing a lot, but don’t feel as well as they’d like to. Together, we sort out their energy, gut health, hormones and sleep, so they feel strong and clear-headed again.
Most of them have already tried the protocols, the supplements and the diets. They’ve done everything right. And they’re still stuck.
So we look for the root cause instead of managing symptoms. Over six months, we connect the dots across their body, habits, stress and emotional world. Then we experiment, learn and build a way forward that fits their actual life.
If that sounds like what you’re looking for, you can find all details here.
I’m also the co-founder of Intesoma, which I’m building with Christine Schmid.
It’s our home for breathwork education, practice and community.
We train breathwork coaches, practise together in our Online Studio, and have conversations about breathing, relationships and being human on the Intesoma Podcast. Most of that world is in German.
I write, too.
About health, psychology, building a business and figuring out how to live with more curiosity and less self-abandonment.
You can find my essays on Substack.
Earlier chapters of my life involved travelling the world, making videos and writing two books: Find Your Magic and Digital, unabhängig, frei.
Different projects. Many of the same questions.
How do we want to live? What matters enough to build? And how do we stay connected to ourselves while doing it?
These days, I live in Portugal with my wife and our dog, Toni. I surf, lift weights, walk a lot and spend as much time near the ocean as I can.
Still curious. Still figuring things out.
